             displeasure apparent upon whiskered features, yet only
incoherent grumbling slipped slipped past folds of flesh. although 
reluctant,  his feet moved into forceful strides,  compelling to the
demands of the only female member of their team. 
                 
                     “ but Sakura-chaaaaaan ~!! ”

came his child like whining, obviously not liking the divided
attention from the bubblegum haired lass. Always charmed
by the apathetic raven he deemed as rival. 
                 And the thought itself somehow kinda irked him.

“ Why do we always have to deal with Teme’s crappy
mood swings anyway, ‘ttebayo?! We ain’t even his babysitter!! ”

their surroundings — hands clutching tightly over his clothes,
nearing his abdomen. her verbal usage was something he 
thought of as entertaining. with a small cough, he resumes his
posture. his eyes fell onto her form, amusement still evident
through pools of cerulean. his lips curling into a huge grin.
          ‘  heeeeeh.  is ‘tis a new form of flirting, ‘ttebayo ??
cute as that sounds, i ain’t up for dick ripping. thank you.  ’

    ‘ naruto… ‘ drawls a familiar, albeit raspy tone from just behind the blond shinobi. shikamaru stands there, hands deep in his pockets, staring at his comrade’s back. 

     ‘ are you trying to kill yourself with all this training? ‘

                drenched  in sweat, sun kissed flesh are now covered
with dirt && scrapes scattering around whiskered cheeks. brows
furrowing, azure pools pierces through dark hooded contacts. a 
scowl, not of normal occurrence, planted itself onto once amiable 
features. 
                                    ‘ —che, i’d rather die strong than be weak. ’ 
quiet whisper coated with bitterness slipped past thin lips, hardened
gaze shifting back t’wards a pair of shadowed clones upfront.
though in a manner so casual, he lets the back of his palm dried
out little remains of hard earned moisture away from his face.
                          ‘ rather than nagging, it’d be nice if you’d 
                                               spar with me instead, ‘ttebayo. ’

Inadvertently scrubbing at her scalp under all that rather soft looking thick raven coloured hair while using only river water to do so, her magenta irises away from the surroundings “..” seeming to focus on the task at hand, rinsing away the oils and dirt embedded there.

            prey in sight, cerulean hues locked onto a tiny fluff of snow.
the moment it flees, his feet dashes in a speed twice as that of the
hare. having caught the thing — his gaze shifted towards a river
bank from afar.
&&  he blinked. not once but twice. eyes squinted,
he caught a glimpse of a figure so petite. && he wonders…
What kind of shampoo is she using??
